Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of the HealThaali application and this website. Please read the medical disclaimer in particular.

Effective 29 September 2026 · Version history

1. Agreement

By downloading, installing or using the HealThaali app or browsing this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service is provided by HealThaali, an independent business operated by an individual, based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

2. The service

HealThaali provides general nutrition information, personalised meal plans, recipe suggestions, food logging, nutrition tracking and progress views. Features may be added, changed or withdrawn, and some features shown on this website may not be available in your version yet.

This website is informational. Statements about availability of the Android app or the web app reflect the state at the time of publication; where a link does not exist it is intentionally disabled.

3. Medical disclaimer

HealThaali offers general nutrition information and meal guidance. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or cure any condition. Always follow the advice of your own doctor or dietitian.

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before changing your diet, especially if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, managing a chronic condition such as diabetes, or taking medication. Do not disregard professional medical advice because of something you read in the app or on this site.

If you think you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately. HealThaali is not an emergency service.

4. Your account

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter.
  • Keep your account credentials confidential and tell us about unauthorised use.
  • The service is not intended for children.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the service unlawfully, or to infringe anyone else’s rights;
  • attempt to access accounts, systems or data that are not yours;
  • scrape, copy, resell or bulk-extract the recipe, food or nutrition database, or use it to build a competing dataset;
  • interfere with the service, including by introducing malware or overloading it;
  • misrepresent the service’s output as personalised medical or clinical advice.

6. Recipes and content

Recipes, videos, articles and images published by HealThaali are for personal, non-commercial use. You may cook from them, save them and share links. You may not republish them commercially, or present them as your own, without written permission.

Nutrition figures are estimates. They depend on the ingredients, brands and portion sizes actually used, so treat them as a guide rather than an exact measurement.

7. Third-party services

The app may link to or rely on third-party services — app stores, platform health services such as Health Connect, hosting providers and food or barcode data sources. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.

8. Availability

We aim to keep the service available, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, updates, third-party outages and events outside our control may interrupt it. The web app and Android app may be released at different times.

9. Intellectual property

The HealThaali name, logo, wordmark, design and the content we publish belong to HealThaali or its licensors. These terms do not grant you any right to use our branding.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time — in the app or from the account deletion page, both described in the deletion section of the privacy policy. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are materially breached or if we are required to by law.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. The effective date above will be revised, and material changes will be communicated in the app. Every version is listed in the version history, so what changed and when stays on the record. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
